PORT (36" x 48")

The painting is inspired by a trip to Basque Country a few years ago, where I spent a few days in the South West of France. Visions of medieval stone walls, different ports, old anchors, and many other sights from the magnificent littoral region are blended into this piece. The rich textures are created by brush, spatula, rags and found objects.
